Project brief.
- Supply and Construct new 12m and 10m high acoustic walls around an operational substation. Work to incorporate relocations of existing drainage services and HV/LV supplies along with installation of new drainage, relocate existing entrance gates and roadway repairs.
- Provide acoustic wall and accompanying structural steelworks designs from the appointed specialist supplier along with management of contractor to fabricate and erect new supporting steel works onto all new foundations within an HV substation.
- Undertake all excavations as per HSG 47 Regulations, construct and install new foundation bases complete with new ring beams approx. 200m metres in length.
- Diamond saw cut, over 1100m of concrete and asphalt road ways, including diamond coring for new services. All diamond sawing/coring by Ducron directly using own plant and trained staff.
- All service location excavations carried out by Vacuum Excavator (Ducron owned plant and in house trained operators)
- No accidents or injuries in over 30,000 manhours worked on site.
